ENID, Okla. — Oil and gas plays ranging throughout portions of Blaine, Kingfisher and Canadian counties may be two of the most exciting energy potentials in North America, according to Chad Warmington, with Oklahoma Oil and Gas Association.
South Central Oklahoma Oil Province (SCOOP) and Sooner Trend Anadarko Basin Canadian and Kingfisher Counties (STACK) plays could show a significant rebound when oil and gas prices resurge, he said.
Development in the state has significant potential, Warmington said.
“That’s the play that will give us the most potential growth,” Warmington said. “People in the oil and gas industry are very excited about it, too.” (
